Through lectures and guided visits, scientists of the KIT provide interested visitors with insights into current fields of research and research laboratories at the Campus North (before: Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe).
The guided visit comprises an introduction to the main activities, the visit of an exhibition presenting examples of research, and a tour to several scientific and technical installations. The visits are arranged at no costs, of course.
If there is more time and a deeper interest in detailed information on certain or several fields of activity, it is possible to participate in seminars of one to two days. Special school labs and events for students are organized by Fortbildungszentrum für Technik und Umwelt.
Engineering and scientific research and development work, however, requires proper operation procedures and various safety precautions. Therefore, we kindly ask you to observe our organizational instructions when planning your visit already – with this you contribute to making your visit a success.
